We may use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

3. Voice Data and AI Voice Cloning

Your voice recordings are processed to create a personalized voice model. We may use aggregated and anonymized data derived from your voice for research and development purposes, but your individual

voice data will not be shared without your explicit consent.

If you use the outbound call feature, your AI-generated voice may be used to deliver calls on your behalf. We may store these outbound communications (recordings and/or transcripts) solely to fulfill the service, monitor for abuse, or comply with legal obligations. Users are responsible for ensuring they have obtained proper consent from call recipients where required by law.

4. Data We Collect

Third-Party AI Services and Data Processing

YouSquared uses third-party artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud services to provide its core functionality, including AI-powered call answering, speech transcription, voice  synthesis, call analysis, and messaging. By using YouSquared, you acknowledge and agree that certain personal data will be transmitted to and processed by the third-party service  providers described below.  

Data We Collect

When you use YouSquared, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

- Call audio recordings: Audio from incoming and outgoing calls handled by the AI assistant  
- Call transcripts: Text generated from call audio via speech-to-text processing  
- Caller and contact information: Names, phone numbers, company names, and other details provided during calls or entered by you  
- Voice samples: Recordings you provide to customize your AI assistant's voice  
- Phone numbers: Your phone number and the phone numbers of people who call you
- Calendar data: Schedule and availability information, if you enable calendar integration
- Interaction history: Records of past calls, messages, and contact interactions

How We Share Data with Third-Party AI Providers

To deliver the services described above, we share your data with the following categories of third-party providers:  

Speech-to-Text (Transcription)
Your call audio recordings are sent to transcription providers to convert speech into text. Providers: Deepgram, OpenAI.  

AI Language Models (Call Analysis and Processing)
Call transcripts, conversation context, and caller information are sent to AI language model providers for call analysis, contact information extraction, spam detection, urgency  assessment, and draft message generation. Providers: Google (Vertex AI / Gemini), OpenAI.  

Text-to-Speech (Voice Synthesis)
Text content is sent to voice synthesis providers to generate spoken AI responses during calls. Providers: OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Cartesia.

Real-Time Communication
Real-time call audio and session data are transmitted through our real-time communication provider to facilitate live AI-powered call handling. Provider: LiveKit.

Telephony and Messaging
Phone numbers and message content are shared with our telephony provider for call routing, SMS delivery, spam detection, and caller identification. Provider: Twilio.

Purpose of Data Processing

We share your data with the third-party providers listed above solely for the following purposes:
- Answering and managing your incoming calls via our AI assistant  - Transcribing call audio into text
- Generating natural-sounding AI voice responses
- Analyzing calls to determine urgency, caller satisfaction, and spam likelihood
- Extracting and organizing contact information from conversations  - Drafting SMS replies and summaries on your behalf
- Routing calls and delivering text messages
- Improving the accuracy and quality of the service

Data Protection by Third Parties
We require that all third-party service providers maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data. These providers process your  data in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable data protection laws. We select providers that offer protections consistent with or equivalent to those  described in this privacy policy.  

Data Retention
Call recordings, transcripts, and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data at  any time by contacting us at yousquared-support@strange-attractor.com.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist us in operating our app (e.g., hosting services, payment processors)

We may share metadata from outbound calls (e.g., phone numbers dialed, call duration) with third-party providers that assist in telecom infrastructure. We do not share call content or personal audio unlessrequired by law or authorized by you.

  • If required by law or to respond to legal requests
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is

completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Healthcare Data and HIPAA Compliance

For users and partners in the healthcare sector, Strange Attractor Technologies Inc. maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with the Health Insurance Portability andAccountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and its implementing regulations. Our systems are designed to protect the privacy, integrity, and security of protected health information (PHI) processed through the YouSquared platform. We sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with applicable healthcare clients and ensure all subprocessors handling PHI meet equivalent standards.

7. Use of Google Workspace APIs

We use Google Workspace APIs to enable certain app functionalities. However, we do not use any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalizedartificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. Your Workspace data is only used to provide the specific services you have requested and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access to your personal data
  • Requesting correction of inaccurate data
  • Requesting deletion of your personal information
  • Opting out of marketing communications
